Dr. Michelle B. Brown has been practicing dentistry since 1993. A native Chicagoan, she was raised on the SouthSide of Chicago in the Calumet Heights neighborhood. Dr. Brown was educated in the Chicago Public School system. She is a graduate of Whitney M. Young Magnet High School.
After high school, Dr. Brown became a student at Spelman College, an all women’s college located in Atlanta Georgia. While at Spelman she successfully earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Brown then matriculated into MeHarry Medical College, School of Dentistry where she earned her DDS degree in 1992.
Dr. Brown has enjoyed the privilege of serving in the capacity of dentistry in various environments. She has owned her own practice for 15 years, worked in public health dentistry in community health centers, worked in nursing homes, and other private practices. Dr. Brown is a constant learner and enjoys a voracious appetite for new techniques in dentistry. Her passion in dentistry is making dental treatment available for everyone, regardless of socioeconomic status.
Dr. Brown loves to cook, read and spending time with her family.
A classically trained pianist, Dr. Brown enjoys all types of music,but her office mates would probably say she loves ‘70s music the best!
